SNELLVILLE, Ga. - The defense contributed on the scoring end for
South Gwinnett (Snellville, Ga.) on Saturday, totaling 12 points as the Comets defeated
Duluth (Ga.) 42-28.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Comets were up 35-9 at the half.
Thad Bell, who passed for four touchdowns, was a bright spot for the Wildcats during the defeat.
The win was a nice bounce back for South Gwinnett, which lost to Lincoln last week, 34-21.
