Plantation took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stranahan on Thursday. Plantation has struggled against Stranahan recently, as their game on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Plantation's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Daterrius Heller, who scored 20 points, and Jabari Washington who scored 17 points.
Stranahan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damari Foster, who scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that Foster scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was David Nealy, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Plantation has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Stranahan, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
