Vincent Hoover Turns in Season-Best Performance
Vincent Hoover produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Juniata Valley to the win on Friday. Hoover rushed for 295 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making eight total tackles.

Rocco Reifer's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 159+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made 15 total tackles.
If the past is any indication, Reifer could be in store for another big game when he takes on West Branch on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Reifer saw the Warriors), he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Mount Union picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Georgie Bilger. Bilger did his part (and then some), picking up two sacks and making 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss) for the 'W'.
Mount Union pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Bilger's next match is against Claysburg-Kimmel on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns from Mason Campagna
Claysburg-Kimmel picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Mason Campagna. Moshannon Valley had no answer to Campagna as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 134 yards and a touchdown. Campagna is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Claysburg-Kimmel's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Campagna and Claysburg-Kimmel have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Mount Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Nasir Collins Makes It Two for Mount Union
The second Mount Union player making an appearance here is Nasir Collins, and for good reason. He wasn't messing around on Friday, making ten total tackles. The game was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
