The Dillon Christian Warriors won against the King's Academy Lions last Thursday with 75 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Dillon Christian blew past King's Academy 75-50. That 25 points margin sets a new team best for Dillon Christian this season.
Dillon Christian was led to victory by Thompson Stone and Sean Locklear. Stone dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists, while Locklear scored 30 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Locklear has scored all season. Reese Bracey was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
The win was the third in a row for Dillon Christian, bringing their record for this year to 6-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for King's Academy, they bumped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dillon Christian will take on Carolina Academy at 6:55 p.m. on Monday. As for King's Academy, King's Academy and Lee Academy will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
