After losing to South View the last time they met, Gray's Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bears walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Tigers on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Gunner Sterling was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Mason Barnes was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Sterling wasn't the only one making solid contact: Gray's Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The Bears are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Gray's Creek's record now sits at 11-6. As for South View, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Coming up, Gray's Creek will take on Oscar Smith in a tournament on Saturday. As for South View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Overhills at 10:00 a.m. on the 19th.
