Questa's win came from a few key players Coronado will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Joshlyn Medina, who had nine digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. Melinda Rael was another key player, getting nine aces and four assists.
Questa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Questa's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Coronado, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
