Houston suffered their closest loss yet this season on Monday. They fell just short of Kingsland by a score of 65-63. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Houston in their matchups with Kingsland: they've now lost five in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zach Olson, who scored 18 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Geiwitz, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Speaking of assists, Houston were working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kingsland only racked up seven assists.
Glenville-Emmons' victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
