The Omro Foxes will venture away from home to square off against the Brillion Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Oconto hit Omro with a seven-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Foxes came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 10-2. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Omro saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Loker, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Loker has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Gage Stojakovic also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Brillion got the win against Manitowoc Lutheran on Friday by a conclusive 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Chase Braun was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last five games. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Hayden Cousin was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 12 contests.
Brillion is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Omro, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Omro has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brillion struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Omro couldn't quite get it done against Brillion in their previous matchup back in May of 2023 as they fell 6-3. Can the Foxes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
