On Saturday, LaBelle was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 19-13 to North Port. LaBelle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why LaBelle lost, one person who can't be blamed is Darian Robinson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Robinson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
LaBelle has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 6-4 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.0 points per game. As for North Port, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
LaBelle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Port also has no future games currently scheduled.
