Logan had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 28-50 walloping at Mountainair hands. If Logan were expecting payback for the 0-54 loss against Mountainair the last time the teams met, then they were shortchanged. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Logan off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Mountainair a 1-0 record.
Next week, Logan take on Springfield at 7:00 PM. As for Mountainair, they will face of against Tatum.
