Ryland Bradford Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Abilene's Ryland Bradford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bradford's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 69 yards.
The win was the fourth in a row for Abilene, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Bradford will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Tascosa on Friday.

Ethan Joyner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Abilene to the win on Thursday. Joyner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.
For the season, Joyner has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 94.4 rushing yards per game.

Demarion Finch Dazzles in Coronado Win
Demarion Finch helped snap Coronado's six-game losing streak. Finch was unstoppable on Friday, rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 48 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.
This year, Finch has averaged 34.5 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.

Xavier Vargas Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Caprock came up short on Friday despite Xavier Vargas delivering his best game to date. Vargas rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.
Caprock is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Vargas will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Lubbock on Friday.
