While Highland didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-12-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their defense stepped up to hand the Loudonville Redbirds a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Highland yet this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Highland, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matchups. As for Loudonville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4-1.

Coincidentally, Highland and Loudonville will both be playing Galion the next time they take the pitch. The Fighting Scots will head out to face the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Redbirds will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
