The matchup between Vallivue and Emmett  on Wednesday hardly resembled the  3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Falcons put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp  20-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven matches by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Eli Daniel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was even better at the plate,  firing off three  home runs and nine  RBI while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Jayden Cagel was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Cooper Crutcher was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Vallivue  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Emmett only posted  an  OBP of  .409.
Vallivue's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-0. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Emmett,  they are  on  a  16-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Vallivue Falcons  face off against  Skyview Hawks at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Skyview's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so Vallivue's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Emmett, they will square off against Nampa at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
