Corbin is 7-0 against the Wildcats since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Corbin Redhounds will look to defend their home court against the Lynn Camp Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last eight contests, Corbin finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Great Crossing, falling 75-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Corbin has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Lynn Camp came up short against the Panthers on Friday and fell 55-48. While losing is never fun, Lynn Camp can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Panthers are ranked 124th).
Corbin's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Lynn Camp, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.
Everything went Corbin's way against the Wildcats when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the Redhounds made off with a 77-56 victory. Will Corbin repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
