John Carre posted a new career-low in earned runs on Friday. He was dialed in as he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. He was dominant the last time he took on Bartlett Yancey last Tuesday, so they probably should've seen this coming. Those ten strikeouts gave Carre a new career-high.

Carre and North Moore will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The O'Neal School at 4:00 p.m. on April 9. The Mustangs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Falcons thanks in part to Carre: he scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
