The Rosman Tigers stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past NCSSM: Morganton 69-13 on the road. While fans of Rosman might be used to big wins, the 56-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Rosman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexi Powell (sykes) out in front who scored 17 points. Powell (sykes) continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Moretz, who scored 15 points.
Rosman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for NCSSM: Morganton, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosman will take on Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison is coming into the game with four straight victories at home, meaning Rosman will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for NCSSM: Morganton, they and Mitchell will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. NCSSM: Morganton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last 13 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
