Football Recap: Cumberland Valley Skates Past Carlisle with Ease

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Cumberland Valley on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Carlisle Thundering Herd out of the water with a 42-0 final score. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Thundering Herd are ranked 240th).

Kameron Wolfe was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 85 yards and one score on only seven carries, and also threw for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two). Hayden Johnson also helped with two TDs in total.

The win got Cumberland Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Carlisle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
