The St. Xavier Tigers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They breezed by Oldham County on the road to the tune of 58-0. The result was nothing new for St. Xavier, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
St. Xavier was led to victory by Wyatt Graven and Thomas Andriole. Graven rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown, while Andriole threw for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only seven passes. Graven was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 68 yards. Marlon Harbin made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
St. Xavier is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Oldham County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
St. Xavier will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Trinity. Trinity knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully St. Xavier likes a good challenge. Oldham County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
