St. Paul's rough 32-6 loss to St. Bernard's Central Catholic might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Paul in their matchups with St. Bernard's Central Catholic: they've now lost three in a row.
Even if they lost, St. Paul's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, James Kelly was the leader with two sacks.
St. Bernard's Central Catholic was led to victory by Keegan Rose and Jarius Williams. Rose rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while Williams rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Williams' longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.
St. Paul has yet to win a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 1-9 record. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.0 points per game. As for St. Bernard's Central Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-7.
