Parker had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They really took it to the Ramsay Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-13 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Thundering Herd, who have now won 11 matchups in a row dating back to last season.
Dylan Reese had an outrageously good game as he threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Jacoby Quates Jr was Reese's top target, picking up 96 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Parker's defense and their seven sacks. It was truly a group effort as Robert Taylor, Nedarius Davis, and Kenyuan Davis picked up two apiece.
