Sacred Heart saw some tournament action  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Meridian Mustangs by a score of  2-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Irish.
 Hallie Jones paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jones got some help from  Daycee Witt and her 15 assists. Witt also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Dorothy Crouse, racking up three apiece.
Sacred Heart's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Meridian, they moved to 6-5 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Sacred Heart and Southern will shake off the rust and duke it out  on Tuesday. As for Meridian, they will challenge East Butler on Tuesday.
