Hononegah had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  Kaelyn Kelly was a standout: she got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April.  Peyton Klikno was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Hononegah  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in four consecutive  matches.
Hononegah's record is now 20-3. As for Biggsville West Central, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 28-6 record  this season.
 Hononegah will challenge Freeport at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Biggsville West Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
