The North Pemiscot Mustangs lost against the Cooter Wildcats back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. North Pemiscot took a serious blow against Cooter, falling 81-13. North Pemiscot has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Caleb Gunnels was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. Ryce Lynn was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
North Pemiscot's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cooter, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
North Pemiscot won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Scott City at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for Cooter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
