North Myrtle Beach has gone 8-2 against Myrtle Beach recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Chiefs will head out on the road to take on the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. North Myrtle Beach is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

North Myrtle Beach's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over St. James. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Fisher Nichols tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Gabe Priest was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Oxendine, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

North Myrtle Beach always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. James only posted an OBP of .130.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach fell victim to Carolina Forest and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Panthers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for North Myrtle Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

North Myrtle Beach took their win against Myrtle Beach when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chiefs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
