Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Ridge Christian Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-45 loss to Winter Haven Christian. That's two games in a row now that Ridge Christian Academy has lost by exactly 18 points.
Despite the loss, Ridge Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Kurtis Colon scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Feuntes, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Land O' Lakes Christian was the victim of a tough 48-27 defeat at the hands of Families Instructing Students HomeSchool last Thursday. Land O' Lakes Christian has not had much luck with Families Instructing Students HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Ridge Christian Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Land O' Lakes Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Ridge Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 70-32 loss at the hands of Land O' Lakes Christian in their previous meeting back in November. Can Ridge Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
