A Season-Best Effort from Eli Dukes Leads Palma over Aptos
On Friday, Palma had to settle for second even though Eli Dukes put up the best numbers he has all season. Dukes rushed for 271 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards.
Aptos's probably not too fond of Dukes given he always seems to get the better of them. Dukes rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Mariners duked it out back in October of 2023.

Casey Macconnell posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Hudson Summerrill Delivers Best Effort of Season
Soquel was led to victory by Hudson Summerrill, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Summerrill picked up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 55 yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Soquel, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Summerrill and Soquel will host Everett Alvarez at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
