Fort LeBoeuf and Harbor Creek are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bison will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Fort LeBoeuf's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Harbor Creek's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Fort LeBoeuf is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Titusville just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 7-4 to the Rockets.
Ibree Rodgers led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season. Lillian McKinney was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Harbor Creek made easy work of General McLane on Friday and carried off a 15-1 victory. Considering the Huskies have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Lucas and Brooklynn Cipalla did most of the damage at the plate: Lucas went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double, while Cipalla went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and one double. That's the most runs Cipalla has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Mariah Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Harbor Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.
Harbor Creek is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Fort LeBoeuf, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-2.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fort LeBoeuf has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .456. However, it's not like Harbor Creek struggles in that department as they've averaged .452. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Fort LeBoeuf couldn't quite finish off Harbor Creek in their previous meeting back in April and fell 10-8. Will the Bison have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
