Godwin barely beat Atlee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Raiders on Monday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Jacob Babcock made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Babcock was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Eli Macturk was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Alex Boyd was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Godwin lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Godwin's record is now 2-0. As for Atlee, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Godwin will face off against Deep Run at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlee, they will square off against King George at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
