It was another big night for Cameron Sampson, who scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaymon Harris, who scored 12 points.
Thomas Jefferson's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Richmond City School of the Arts, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-13.
Thomas Jefferson will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Glen Allen at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Glen Allen presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Thomas Jefferson in Virginia (Glen Allen is ranked 113th, while Thomas Jefferson is ranked 271st). As for Richmond City School of the Arts, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Huguenot at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Huguenot focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday.
