The Arapahoe Warriors will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bertrand Vikings. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Tuesday, Arapahoe was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-40 to Cambridge. Arapahoe has struggled against Cambridge recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Berkley Warner, who scored nine points. Sage Larson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals.
Arapahoe struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Bertrand came up short against Blue Hill on Tuesday and fell 34-25.
Arapahoe has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Bertrand, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Arapahoe beat Bertrand 47-37 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Does Arapahoe have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bertrand turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
