Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sexton). They blew past the Lakewood Vikings 92-45 on Tuesday. Given the Big Reds' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Vikings are ranked 494th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sexton pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Lakewood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Sexton will take on Ionia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakewood, they will challenge Lansing Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
