The Bel Air Highlanders will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Del Valle Conquistadores at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bel Air can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Parkland 63-33 at home. With Bel Air ahead 33-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Bel Air got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adalyn Palomo out in front who scored 24 points along with three steals. Palomo hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Saldana, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Del Valle was handed a 42-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against the Indians on Friday. Del Valle skirted past the Indians 29-27. The victory was just what Del Valle needed coming off of a 59-17 loss in their prior contest.
Bel Air is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for Del Valle, their victory bumped their record up to 15-16.
Everything came up roses for Bel Air against the Conquistadores in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 68-14 win. With Bel Air ahead 32-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
