The King Prep Rams had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down Kingsbury 42-26. For King Prep, this counts as revenge for the 21-17 defeat Kingsbury walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2019.
Among those leading the charge was Terranisha Washington-Moore, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rickevia Sherfield, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
King Prep's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Kingsbury, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
King Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Kingsbury, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Craigmont at 6:00 p.m.
