Otis has gone 8-2 against Prairie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Otis will venture away from home to face off against Prairie at 1:00 p.m. Otis is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
If Otis beats Prairie with ten runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Otis blew past Peetz 10-2 on Friday. The result was nothing new for Otis, who have now won five contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Gavin Price and Paxton Davis made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Price struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Meanwhile, Davis tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. At bat, Price went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double, while Davis went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. That triple was Price's first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mitchell Stivers, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gracen Bechtle, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prairie). They put the hurt on Weldon Valley with a sharp 25-3 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.
Otis pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.3 runs this season. As for Prairie, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Everything went Otis' way against Prairie in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Otis made off with a 17-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Otis since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
