The Elkhart Elks lost against the Onalaska Wildcats back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Elkhart took a serious blow against Onalaska, falling 73-46.
Among those leading the charge was Bryan Wyatt, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Brayden Topkins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Elkhart bumped their record down to 6-8 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Onalaska, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Elkhart will be home for the holidays to greet Slocum at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Onalaska, they will head out on the road to face off against Shepherd at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Shepherd focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Tuesday.
