Kole Doppelheuer Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Belle Vernon got the W thanks in part to Kole Doppelheuer playing the best football he has all season. Doppelheuer rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Thomas Jefferson Gets a Boost from Eber in 27-7 Win
Tyler Eber was instrumental in extending Thomas Jefferson's winning streak to seven on Friday. Eber did his part (and then some), rushing for 146 yards and three touchdowns for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Thomas Jefferson's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Eber and Thomas Jefferson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Chartiers Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

On Friday, Belle Vernon got the W thanks in part to Curtis Wade playing the best football he has all season. Wade rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 92 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing.
