Basketball Recap: Waterloo West Piles Up the Points Against Washington

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waterloo West). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Washington Warriors 81-54. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wahawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Waterloo West now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Washington, they dropped their record down to 9-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterloo West will challenge Iowa City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waterloo West is facing Iowa City at the right time seeing as Iowa City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Washington, they will square off against Western Dubuque at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
