Baseball Recap: Lowell Wins Going Away Against Greenville

While Lowell put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Greenville. The Red Arrows blew past the Yellow Jackets 7-0. The result was nothing new for the Red Arrows, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Ty Wasilenski, who gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Greenville off the board. Wasilenski has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nathen Raison was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Johnny Pike was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lowell has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Greenville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-15.

Lowell will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellow Jackets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
