Gloucester Catholic owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Kingsway Dragons by a score of 4-0. The Rams' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Sal Marziani made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Marziani was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other pitching news, Gloucester Catholic got a great performance from Jackson Smallets as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Braeden Lipoff, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

Gloucester Catholic's record now sits at 3-0. As for Kingsway, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gloucester Catholic will face off against Hun at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingsway, they will take on Clearview at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
