Bear Grass Charter is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Ocracoke: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bear Grass Charter blew Ocracoke out of the water with a 64-22 final score. With the Bears ahead 38-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Bear Grass Charter's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubery Dotson, who went 8 for 10 en route to 19 points. Dotson's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Callee Perry was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Hobgood Charter played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 43-21 to Columbia.

Haleigh Eason was Hobgood Charter's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Kinsey Peel held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Bear Grass Charter's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Hobgood Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

It's a different story for Hobgood Charter, though, as they've been averaging only 29.6 points. The only thing between Bear Grass Charter and another offensive beatdown is Hobgood Charter.
