They took their contest at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 65-24 win over Manassas. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory First Assembly Christian has posted since November 21, 2023.
First Assembly Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Danae Kennedy, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. Kennedy has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Georgia Ahlstrom was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three steals.
First Assembly Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Manassas, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
