With a playoff game on the line, the North Gwinnett Bulldogs rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 31-6 margin over West Forsyth. Considering North Gwinnett has won five matches by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Ryan Hall, who threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Erik Ronning, who picked up 47 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The win was the third in a row for North Gwinnett, bringing their record for this year to 8-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points per game. As for West Forsyth, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
North Gwinnett will take on Walton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Walton's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. West Forsyth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
