There's no place like home for Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the V.B. Glencoe Charter Gators a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering the Hornets have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will challenge Westgate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.26 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, they will face off against Gueydan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
