Last Tuesday, Tri-West Hendricks suffered a tough 48-28 loss at the hands of Brownsburg. Tri-West Hendricks has struggled against Brownsburg recently, as their match on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Western Boone's 16-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. The match between Western Boone and Cascade wasn't particularly close, with Western Boone falling 53-36. Western Boone has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite their loss, Western Boone saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ila Stokes, who scored 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Emmerson Gott, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 blocks.
Tri-West Hendricks has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Western Boone, the last time they won on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now lost four straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 3-5.
Tri-West Hendricks and Western Boone were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but Tri-West Hendricks came up empty-handed after a 76-75 loss. Can Tri-West Hendricks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
