Gibbs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Clinton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Gibbs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Clinton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Gibbs barely beat Heritage the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Mountaineers on Monday. That looming 11-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.
Miah German got the start for Gibbs and what a start it was: she tossed 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. German has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
