On Friday South Lafourche take on Thibodaux at 7:00 PM. South Lafourche is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
South Lafourche had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-33 punch to the gut against De La Salle last week. South Lafourche were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-26.
Thibodaux had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Vandebilt Catholic with a 14-10 win.
Thibodaux's victory lifted them to 1-0 while South Lafourche's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Thibodaux can add another positive mark to their record or if South Lafourche can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Thibodaux's step.
