For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Richardson and Irving meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Richardson Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Irving Tigers, sneaking past 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Richardson's victory bumped their record up to 10-7-1. As for Irving, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12-1.

Richardson will have a chance to go back-to-back against Irving: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
