Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brewer). They walked away with a 71-60 victory over the Athens Hornets on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bears with their most commanding win of the season.

Leading Brewer to victory were Nash Pena and Braylen Brown. Pena went 9 for 12 on his way to 28 points and seven rebounds, while Brown went 6 of 10 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Pena a new career-high in boards. Zavier Prentice was another key player, putting up four points.

Brewer was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Brewer's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Athens, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
