The Dallas Christian Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Covenant on the road to the tune of 65-11. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Dallas Christian has managed all season.
Leading Dallas Christian to victory were Jackie Schlegel and Macie Perkins. Schlegel scored 14 points along with eight steals and six rebounds, while Perkins dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perkins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leeza Dayian, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Dallas Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Covenant, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Coincidentally, Dallas Christian and Covenant will both be playing Brook Hill the next time they take the court. Dallas Christian will head out to face Brook Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Covenant will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
