The Quanah Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Memphis Cyclones at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Quanah suffered their closest loss yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Wheeler by a score of 37-35. Quanah has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Memphis' five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They put the hurt on Shamrock with a sharp 56-30 win. Memphis has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.
Memphis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eli Martin led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Robison, who scored 16 points.
Quanah's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Memphis, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
Quanah took their win against Memphis when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 65-45. Will Quanah repeat their success, or does Memphis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
